Job description: Industrial sprayer / painter
As an industrial sprayer/painter, you will usually be coating industrial products at the customer’s
site. You will treat the surfaces of industrial metal constructions and thereby maximally protect
these against early degradation or corrosion. You will work in accordance with job tickets, whereby
material choice, thickness and composition have been determined. The finishing layer is applied with
a brush or a spray gun and you will organise a final inspection once your work has been completed.
As you’ll be working with chemicals, experience with, and knowledge of, appropriate protective
measures, including compressed air and breathing apparatus, is of importance.
Tasks:
- The painter/sprayer is tasked with carrying out painting/spraying activities, including preparatory
activities, in accordance with requirements and instructions provided by the managers; - You will correctly use machines, equipment, dyes and other (hazardous) substances;
- You will independently carry out interim quality inspections;
- You will strictly abide by the prescribed (work) procedures and will carry out the work in
accordance with the applicable safety regulations and legal guidelines.
You will be following various different training courses throughout your employment, in order to
ensure you can correctly and safely carry out your job, including: VCA, small extinguishing agents,
fork lift truck certificate, safe lifting, hazardous substances in paint processing, working with
compressed air and breathing apparatus certificate. You will also be given the opportunity to
participate with training courses which can expand and broaden your field of expertise.
Skills: - Vocational Education, or a number of years of experience in the preservation industry;
- Already being in possession of VCA would be an advantage;
- Able to work both independently, as well as being an effective part of a team;
- Good physical condition;
- No fear of heights or anxiety;
- Good communication skills in English;
- Driver’s license B; Own car would be a plus.
€600-€650 net. after all expenses such as: accommodation, insurance and taxes.
